Mr. Burgasser is the owner of Burgasser consulting. He began his home and building inspection career in 1989 when he became associated with Larry H Warren PE. PC. Since that time, he has conducted in excess of 21,000 inspections, including residential, industrial and commercial. He has total engineering experience of over 45 years dating to 1980, including employment as an engineer at E.I. DuPont and Eastman Kodak. He also managed one of the carpenter and trade shops at Kodak during his time there. Doug is a Mechanical Engineer with wide ranging experience in HVAC, piping systems, building construction, etc. In addition to providing inspections, he consults on a variety of topics including water infiltration, roofing and siding problems, drainage problems, ventilation, HVAC and others. He has particular interest and expertise in historic and older homes. Doug is a native of Buffalo, New York and has resided in the Rochester Area since 1982. He is both a New York State Licensed Professional Engineer and a New York State Licensed Home Inspector. Doug is also a NYS Licensed Mold Assessor. He is a graduate of the State University of New York at Buffalo. Doug and his wife enjoy time with their four adult sons and their two granddaughters.
